Most marketplaces treat everything as a cash transaction. Duraventi doesn't. Trades are a first-class feature — not a workaround.
A seller marks their listing “Open to trades.” A buyer who has something the seller might want proposes a swap. The two negotiate over message — maybe it's a straight trade, maybe there's a small cash difference to even things out — and when both agree, they ship their items to each other. Duraventi coordinates the process, holds any cash difference in escrow, and both parties confirm receipt before funds are released. It's the same protection as a standard sale, extended to cover the swap format.
Trade escrow is part of the full payment system launching with the app. In early access, trade conversations can begin — but the formal escrow flow arrives at launch.
