Effective date: June 23, 2026Last updated: June 23, 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information Duraventi collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Duraventi website (duraventi.com) and mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account registration data: name, email address, password (hashed; we never store it in plain text).
  • Profile information: display name, username (@handle), bio, location, profile photo.
  • Listing content: photos, item descriptions, pricing, condition, and category.
  • Communications: messages sent through the Duraventi messaging system.
  • Payment information: payment and payout details are collected and stored by Stripe, Inc. Duraventi does not store full card numbers or bank account details directly.
  • Identity verification: if you participate in seller onboarding or our authentication program, Stripe may collect government-issued ID or other verification documents on our behalf.

Information collected automatically:

  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, time and frequency of visits.
  • Device information: device type, operating system, browser type.
  • IP address and approximate location (country/region level).
  • App interaction data: in-app feature usage and interaction events.

Information from third parties:

  • If you sign in via Apple, Google, or Facebook, we receive a user identifier and optionally your name and email from that provider, subject to their own privacy policies.
  • Clerk, Inc. provides our authentication infrastructure and processes sign-in data. See Clerk’s Privacy Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate and provide the Duraventi platform (accounts, listings, messaging, transactions).
  • To process payments and payouts (via Stripe).
  • To send transactional communications (order confirmations, shipping updates, verification codes).
  • To send platform-related updates and product announcements (you can opt out).
  • To review and moderate content for policy compliance.
  • To improve the Platform through aggregate usage analysis.
  • To respond to support requests and resolve disputes.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and prohibited activity.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share data with third-party service providers to operate the Platform:

  • Stripe — payment processing and seller identity verification.
  • Clerk — authentication and session management.
  • Cloudflare — CDN, DNS, and media storage (R2).
  • Railway — backend hosting and infrastructure.
  • Resend — transactional and waitlist email delivery.

We may share information with law enforcement when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of Duraventi and its users. If Duraventi is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We'll notify you if that happens.

4. Cookies and Tracking

Duraventi uses cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you signed in (session cookies).
  • Remember your preferences.
  • Measure how the site is used (analytics).

You can control cookie settings in your browser. Disabling cookies may affect certain features. We use only essential cookies (for sign-in sessions and security) and privacy-respecting usage measurement; we do not use third-party advertising cookies. Where required by law — for example under the GDPR or CCPA — we will request your consent before setting any non-essential cookies.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and listing data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 90 days, except for transaction, financial, tax, and legal records, which we retain for up to 5 years (or longer where the law requires) for accounting, tax, legal, and fraud-prevention purposes. Anonymized/aggregate data may be retained indefinitely.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including:

  • Access to the data we hold about you.
  • Correction of inaccurate data.
  • Deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Portability of certain data.
  • Opt-out of marketing communications.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at thecurryco25@gmail.com. We'll respond within 30 days.

7. Children’s Privacy

Duraventi is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we've collected data from a minor, we'll delete it promptly.

8. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure — but we take it seriously and continually work to improve our practices.

9. Changes to This Policy

We'll notify you of material changes to this Policy by email or within the Platform. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
